Sandra Faye Deal Bowes, a former resident of Granville County passed away Saturday, March 10th 2012 at Hospice at the Meadowlands in Hillsborough.

A native of Mecklenburg County, Va., the daughter of Larry and Polly Deal. She was of the Baptist faith and medically retired from Newell and Son Inc.

Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 PM Tuesday, March 13, 2012 in the Eakes Funeral Chapel in Oxford by Rev. Herbert Brown and Rev. Greg Thomas. Entombment will be in Meadowview Memorial Park in Oxford.

Surviving other than her parents are a daughter, Brandy Llamas of Person County, a son, Brian Bowes of Oxford, three sisters, Debra Bowes of Person County, Barbara Williams of Oxford, Diane Turner of Mineral Bluff, Ga., a brother, John Larry Deal of Virgilina ,Va., and a grandson, Jacob Llamas.

Omission of flowers is requested and memorials may be made to Hock Family Pavillion , 4023 North Roxboro Street, Durham, NC 27704.

Visitation 7:00-8:30 PM Monday evening, March 12th 2012 at the Eakes Funeral Home in Oxford and at other times at the home of Larry and Polly Deal.

Eakes Funeral Home in Oxford is assisting the Bowes family.

9 Years-Wow so much in this world has changed since you went on to be with the Lord. Mama the world is so cruel!!! Families are against families, people are against people. Money, greed, fame and competition have just taken the hearts of people over on this land!!! God has been removed from everything and it’s so hard to build a Christian foundation for our children!!! In a way- I’m glad the Lord had a better plan for you to be with him, it’s difficult here on Earth and in a selfish way I wished you were still here for me to talk to and catch up lost time!! I have a strong faith in the Lord Jesus Christ and no matter the hardships I know that my faith will lead me home to be with him in Heaven!! I miss you mama!!! Until we meet again!!!...xoxoxoxoxoxo

Mama I can't believe it's been four years today since the lord took you home!!! I have so many things to be thankful for because of you!!! I do miss you so much!!! I know you are having so much fun in the heavens!!! My love runs deep and I love u so much!! Until we meet again I will keep you and our memories right here safe in my heart!! By ur side the last few months! I kno God has a plan for us all but still can't believe u have flown!!! It still feels like a nitemare! Sandra was my older sister who will truly be missed. She was such a sweet, loving, beautiful person. She was called home to be with our Lord early. She will always be with us in our hearts. She fought a long hard battle, but the fight ended And "Sis, you may Rest in Peace now". I love you!!!
