Sandy's Life

March 7, 2012

I have been friends with Sandy for over 9 years now, I met her after I married my husband. She made my life bright we had conversations after conversations. We shared the same interests from gardening, cooking, music etc. She became my sister not just a friend, of course that is how most of us knew her as "" sister Sandy "" I was trying to work on an encouraging website for her during her illness. I didn't have time to complete it , as we had a tornado rip through our town last Tuesday night when I was working on the final completion of it. Right now, my heart is heavy, as it is with many of us right now.
Sandy called me three weeks ago in tears telling me the doctors told her there was nothing more they could do for her. I didn't know what to say, all I could do was cry and tell her how sorry I was and that I loved her. We always told each other at the end of our converstions that we loved each other. That's just how Sandy was. She had a heart of gold. She took care of everyone her whole entire life ! She loved gardening, cooking, and Harley Davidson motorcycles. Most of all she loved her family and boyfriend, and her animals her cats horses and Sissy !! Sandy was not afraid to be Sandy ! She did what she wanted to, lived life and wore what she wanted to. She was full of life !! She was truely my best friend/sister !! May she always rest in peace now. Till we meet again my friend !! I love you dearly !!
