Her Life
September 19, 2014

Sandra Denise Jones was born October 18, 1956 in Cleveland, Ohio to the union of late Lamar Johnson and Christine Godfrey Johnson.  She departed this life on September 14, 2014.

Even as a child, Sandra was outgoing and adventurous.  She was a strong willed and confident young lady who knew her worth.  Her laughter was infectious and her smile could light up Las Vegas.  Her skills in the kitchen could rival that of the greatest soul food cooks.   She accepted Christ a an early age and was a member of Triedstone Baptist Church, Cleveland, Ohio.  She matriculated from East Technical High School where she was crowned Black Beauty '74 and was a member of the High Steppers.  She attended Sawyer's Business College, and Cleveland State University.   She held several jobs during her life to include an illustrious career in sales where she was ranked among the top salespeople in her division.  Sandra had a soft spot for children and was most proud of her work with children.  She was employed for eight years with School Of The Little Ones in Maple Heights, Ohio before relocating to Atlanta, Georgia.

She leaves to mourn one daughter, Skyla Denise Jones and three grandchildren, Justin Williams aka "Sonny", Jordon L. Williams aka "Meatloaf" and Sashari D. Williams aka "Sasi Noodles."  She also leaves to mourn two brothers, Lamarieal Johnson (Marilyn) and Gregory Johnson; three sisters, Sherry Johnson, Francine Johnson-Hall (Payton), Marlene Wynn (Kenny); and a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
