Sandra (Sandie)  Bamber,67, passed away on June 15th 2014 at Solera Assisted Living in Houston, TX.  She was born on October 28th, 1947in Normal, IL to Ivan and Viola (Anderson) Brown. Sandie grew up in Lexington, IL.  She graduated from Lexington High School in 1965. After high school she worked in the banking industry before moving to Texas in 1978.

Sandie began work for Mustang Engineering as an accountant where she worked for 12 years.   She started in 1989 and retired in 2001.  Working at Mustang Engineering was Sandie’s proudest work accomplishment.  She was one of only approximately 15 employees when she started.  The company grew to a few hundred employees before she retired. 

 Sandie married Peter Bamber in 1995 in Pattison, TX. They were happily married for 19 years. She enjoyed reading, spending time with her Granddaughters, shopping and watching sports, especially the Texans . Sandie was preceded in death by her father Ivan Brown.  Sandie is survived by her spouse Peter Bamber of Cypress, TX her daughter Alisha, (Fred) Lalumandier of Spring, TX; her son, Aaron Augustine of Dallas, TX.  Her brothers John (Vicky) Brown of Hudson, IL; Ray (Jan) Brown, of Lexington IL and Bill (Karen) Brown of Lexington, Illinois. ; her grandchildren Danie, Avery, Taylor and Nikaela and her nieces and nephews and other relatives. A memorial service will be held at Klein Funeral Home 16131 Champion Forest Drive Spring TX 77379 at 2:00pm on July 19th 2014. In lieu of flowers the family requests memorial donations be made to The American Cancer Society at http://main.acsevents.org/goto/SandieBamber.  The family has pledged to match all contributions dollar for dollar
