My Mother, born Sandra Maureen Lewis, was born in Arizona. She was the eldest of three children. Raymond the youngest and James was the middle child. She was spunky as a child. I heard stories of her chasing Jimmy (James) down the street with a broom! I spent alot of time wih her parents when I was a child. My grandma, Ruth and grandpa, Larue (Tex) were my best friends back in the day. My Grandma always had a comment or two about my Mom that always made me laugh.

     Raised Jehovah Witness, she was forbidden to celebrate holidays, but would make her own clothes and tell kids at school they were presents. She once said that was how she got into sewing.

     My mom could sew anything she put her mind to.That brings me to her amazing ability to draw. She once drew a portrait of Vito, who she was with for many years, and it was AMAZING!!! Angels, made with rafia and lace were special ordered from her friends...she was able to sell them for over a hundred dollars each.
