I came home from school one day and Mum was in the kitchen, I walked in and there she was with the mixing bowl, flour eggs etc out, I asked her what she was doing and she said she though she would try and make some Fairy Cakes for me, so we sat in the kitchen for a while and then it was time for Mum to take them out the oven, they looked really nice, Mum said we had to wait to let them cool before she could put the icing on,

After a while the cakes were ready to be decorated, Mum put icing on them and sprinkles, they looked really good and I couldn't wait to taste them.

After waitng for what seemed like forever it was time to taste one, I bit into the cake and chewed for a second but then this horrible taste filled my mouth, I spat out the piece of cake and Mum said whats wrong, I said It tasted awful, Mum took a bite and also spat the cake out, then she said she thinks she added salt instead of sugar LOL, We both burst out laughing, and after that Mum never did try and make Fairy Cakes again xx
