Sandra was born Sandra Pamela Guard July 13, 1944 to a mother who could not take care of her. Sandra’s difficult start in life was followed by a difficult childhood living with various foster families or group homes until her 18th birthday.

In 1962 when Sandy was 18 years old, she married her first husband Richard Falsetti and, along with a husband, Sandy gained a wonderful mother-in-law, Maxine, who became to Sandy the mother she never had. Maxine's love and support for Sandy was unshakable and lifelong, though Sandy's marriage to Richard lasted only a few short years. Before their marriage ended, Sandy and Richard had two beautiful children, Richard Jr. and Kari Falsetti.

In 1968 Sandy married Jack Talbert.  Sandy and Jack also had two beautiful children, Steven and Scott Talbert. After many years together, Sandy and Jack divorced. In 1989 Sandy sold her house on Ruby Ave, San Jose, CA and moved to  a beautiful log home in Auburn CA. 

In Auburn, Sandy met Mr. Jim Carlisle. Together Sandy and Jim built a life and raised two of Sandy’s grandchildren. Jim passed away February 25, 2011.  After a long illness, during which she was lovingly cared for by her son Scott, daughter Kari, and grandsons Christian and Cameron, Sandy passed from this world July 4, 2013.

Sandy was a loving mother, grandmother, friend, artist, cook, and a huge personality.

Sandy was strong.  Sandy was generous. Sandy was a survivor.  Sandy was loyal. Sandy was talented. Sandy was beautiful.  She is missed.
