Genco, Santina "Tina" of Mullica Hill, NJ passed away on November 17th 2019, surrounded by her family at the age of 76.

She grew up in Brooklyn, NY and enjoyed spending time with her dear Cousin Charlotte. It was there where she met the love of her life John. They were married and settled down in Long Island, NY. She stayed at home with her children and ran a small hairdressing business. Tina most enjoyed playing Bingo and cards with her friends and family. A typical fun evening included family, friends, music, dinner, coffee, desert, a bag full of change, and cards. Her home was always filled with the smell of delicious meals — as she had a passion for cooking. Tina was exceptionally gifted in arts and crafts. She began a party favor business where she put her skills to use.

An active member of The Catholic Community of the Holy Spirit RC Church in Mullica Hill, she had a lifelong commitment to her faith. In her spare time she volunteered decorating the church for different holiday seasons, cooking for church events and served on several church committees.

Tina leaves behind her husband John of 55 years, her daughters Dawn, Theresa and Cindy, her sons Michael and Christopher, her son-in-law Jerome, three grandchildren Joseph, Michael, Jr., and Payton, and many nieces and nephews.

Viewing services celebrating her life will be held on Thursday, November 21, 2019 from 7-9 p.m. and Friday, November 22, 2019 from 10-11 a.m. with Mass at 11:30 a.m. All viewings and mass will be held at The Catholic Community of the Holy Spirit, Holy Name of Jesus Church, Parish Center, 17 Earlington Avenue Mullica Hill NJ 08062. Entombment to follow at All Saints Cemetery, Newfield, NJ.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Holly Dell School and Adult Program (website).

I’ll always remember dinners at her house and the laughter we shared at the table especially when Dawn imitated a man!!  You made your mother laugh so hard! Be at peace now aunt Tina! Love you! From the moment I met the Beautiful "Santina," when I was a mere 15 years old, I was welcomed into her home, not just as Dawnie's best friend, but as one of the family. I cherish every memory I have of sharing stories at the dinner table that left us laughing so hard, our bellies hurt. I will hold those memories and remember...her forever Smile, her forever shining Eyes, and her forever Love. xoxoxo
