Santo “Sam” M. Fiducioso, 92, of Ewan, formerly of Swedesboro passed away on March 31, 2017.

Husband of the late Ida J., he leaves to cherish his memory his “honey” of 16 years, Jeanette Touchstone. Devoted father of Jane Fiducioso of Mullica Hill and Mary Fiducioso of Boynton Beach, FL. and the late Sara Fiducioso. Dear brother of Joseph (Kathy) of Penns Grove and the late Charlie, Mary Marino, Tony and Jennie Licciardello. He is also survived by sisters in law Mary Moore and Sara (Frank) Ollek, and many loving nieces and nephews.

Born in Philadelphia, Sam grew up on the family farm in Swedesboro. He honorably served in the US Army for 2 years. In 1949 he married Ida Guarrera, who passed in 1991. He was a member of the Ewan Fire Dept. for many years, serving as President for 25 years and The American Legion Post 452. Sam spent most of his life in the construction business, roofing and siding, until eventually becoming the owner and operator of Mullica Hill Building Supply and Hardware.

He enjoyed playing the guitar, banjo and performing with the Sterling String Band. He also loved hunting and snowmobiling in Maine, and was an avid firearms shooter, member of the NRA and was a private pilot.

Viewing Tues., April 4 from 7-9 pm and Wed., April 5 from 9-10:30 am at the Catholic Community of the Holy Spirit, 17 Earlington Ave., Mullica Hill, NJ 08062, where Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Wed. 11am. Interment Holy Name of Jesus Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, contributions in Sam’s memory may be made to the American Legion, Post 452, 141 N. Main St., Mullica Hill, NJ 08062.

My loving Brother, with tears in my eyes I send you this message to,you ,Ida and Sara our mom and dad,brothers and sisters I miss so very much,also I thank you for all the things you tough me while here on earth.I miss our phone calls which gave us both a chance to un wind.And lots of laughs when you named my Wednesday night meet with the guys,Joe bananas and his bunch.Rest in peace my Brother hoping we will meet again soon.

A loving father, good friend, generous soul, Sam always had a smile and a hello for everyone. His daughters are a lovely legacy to a life well lived. Sincerest sympathy and prayers for Jane, Mary, and Jeanette.

Jane and Mary, prayers coming your way. I am lucky to have known your father many years ago. Not quite sure he was pleased with the older guy dating his daughter, but he was always a gentleman. He's now with your mom and sister, but will not be forgotten...
