Her Life
October 30, 2016

Mrs. Jackson was born April 4, 1927 in Troup County to the late Chrispen Cornelius “Tip” Stephens and Mary Cathrine Crouch Stephens. She was a Christian by faith. A lover of the outdoors, she enjoyed growing flowers and vegetables with her husband, John. She especially enjoyed walking and watching her garden grow. Her family relished the home cooked meals prepared from the produce from her garden. In her free time, she enjoyed sewing and embroidering. She had an extensive collection of doilies. She loved animals, but her cats had a special place in her heart. She was known as a kind hearted, hard working lady with many friends.

Survivors include: three sons: Chris Jackson (Judy) of Senoia, Terry Jackson (Kathy) of Franklin, and Oliver Jackson (Shirley) of LaGrange; six grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; three sisters: Nell Stephens Cole of Franklin, Emily Stephens Thompson of Marietta, and Julia Stephens of Marietta; and a number of other relatives and friends.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her loving husband, John Oliver Jackson.
