What a wonderful weekend we had with your family. Your kids are bright and beautiful and would make you very proud (but you knew that). We look forward to spending as much time with them as we had growing up together! You are missed but never forgotten.

One of my many Si moments 2yr ago while living in Sydney Vicki Eshelman and Si came down for the week to stay with me after a few days they got a rental car and we decided to roll up to the wine country the Hunter Valley after visting a few vineyards I decided it would be a good time for Si to drive and that was scary we did make it back to the hotel safe and sound with many laughs miss ya friend!

We all loved you so much-you were the mom that the kids wanted to hang with. Charlie loved how you made sushi.Trudy loved the cool adventures you took the girls on+watching movies in bed w/the lights off &candles lit. Leah says you were always just so nice. We always knew you were so successful at work, but our real "awe" of you was as a loving, engaged, passionate mom who tried so hard.oxoxoxmp

Sayuri is the kind of person that regardless of any of the personal challenges that she is experiencing, she will champion yours with the same fervor. I don’t think I know another who has such compassion, and is so self-less.
Sayuri, you are an incredible loving Mother and friend.

Sending sympathy to all of the people Sayuri touched during her full but too brief life. I just met Sayuri within the last two years, and she provided wonderful help to the Humane Society of the United States. We connected through her dear friend Wendie Malick. All of us at the Humane Society send our prayers to her family, and we honor Sayuri for her compassion and goodness.

When I think of Si I picture her sweet smile, her gentle nature and her generous heart. Her children, family and friends were her treasures. She left us much too soon. My heartfelt sympathy goes out to Dane and Dani, her family and all who loved her and feel a great loss. God bless.

Me and my family miss Sayuri very much. I have known her my whole life and she has always been beautiful inside and out. I admired her for so many things, great mother, sister, friend and daughter.

I will never forget how she helped me and her kind heart. I will share a couple of stories.

Sayuri and Shelly were on the way to my wedding. My Auntie Toni called them to advise I had not flowers some kind of mix up with the florist. Sayuri and Shelly went to Sayuri's florist right before they were closing and made my bouquet & bridesmaids flowers. cont..

They did this so I could have flowers walking down the aisle.

I was in the hospital, Sayuri found out and she came and brought me soup. It was something little but it meant a lot.

I have known Si for many years though we only saw each other once or twice a year through our mutual friend Vicky. One of our last times together I told Si I wanted to have a baby sometime soon, I would need a surrogate... Si looked at me in all earnest and said, "I would do that for you if you needed me to, I love being pregnant and being a mom". I think that pretty much says it all.

i had Si in drivers ed with me at FVHS...everytime she got up and walked around in class everyone stopped and stared at her! she was so beautiful inside and out...it was obvious that even the teacher had a crush on her!and then so many memories of her and kenny together <3

My heart is crushed....speechless....your face, smile, voice, spirit, laugh, honesty and care will always be with me. I thank you for each and every moment we spent together. Your presence will resonate with me forever....my thoughts and prayers will be with you and your children.
