A smart man filled with kindness, love and generosity.  He brought me to faith and trust in God. He was a wonderful husband and taught me so many things that I am so grateful for.  He protected me and cared about our lives together. He was a loving son to his parents Robert and Sally Bockhorn. He became more faithful with every year that passed and when he went with God, I believe and know God has made him perfect now. We spent more than 20 years together in Arizona and moved back to Illinois to live a simple life, enjoy our friends, and be involved with our church peace Lutheran in Steeleville. We had a strong devotion to one another and I will always love him until the day God calls me home. Scott was the best husband and my best friend and he will be missed by so many .

Dear Husband, I am thankful for "your blessing" to move on with my life when I am ready.  Not many couples have the opportunity to share those kind of moments with one another, but I will always miss you and no one will ever take your place, only fill a void in my new life.  "Your blessing" is all I ever need and no one else can live my life for me.  We did it all together and you will always be in my heart.
