Scott Joseph Ognowski, 33, died Monday, March 19, 2012 in Cooke County. Funeral service with Charles Kuhn officiating will be held on Saturday March 24, 2012 at 10:00 A.M. in the Melton-Kitchens Funeral Home Chapel of Memories. Arrangements are under the direction of Melton-Kitchens Funeral Home.

Scott Joseph Ognowski was born on September 10, 1978 in Houston, Texas to Donna Kapel. He grew up and attended school in North Zulch, Texas and had recently moved to Breckenridge. He worked in pipeline construction with Raydon Construction of Breckenridge.

He is survived by a daughter, Makayla Ognowski of Indianapolis, IN,; sons, Devon Ognowski of Indianapolis, IN, Hadden Ognowski of Florida, and Thad Ognowski; parents, Donna and Rocky Watson of Breckenridge; sister, Samantha Stokes of Florida; brothers, Rocky Watson III of Breckenridge, Timothy Watson of Amarillo, and Davey Vonicek of San Antonio; and grandparents, Ronnie and Dora Kapel of Fayetville, TX. He was preceded in death by his loving grandmother, Irene Prewett and great-grandmother, Alice Simek.
