Adieu my dear brother and friend Segun. We spoke on May 23rd, I could never have imagine it would be the last. Today has been such a moody day for me, just heard of your death. You were a very nice person. Always true to your word. You really loved your family. I pray for God to grant them the fortitude to bear your loss. Rest on bro
Segun was a jolly going guy, we worked on the same committee for NAPAS at Kwara State Polytechnic. When I collected my NYSC call up letter in 2002, Segun connected me to his uncle who has a friend in Kaduna, when I told him that I was posted there. That’s how kind he was. Last time I saw in was in December 2019, somewhere in Victoria Island. May God comfort his family and be with them always. Rest In Peace Segun Kehinde.

On the 25th of May 2020, I posted about the vanity of this life on my status and Segun made efforts to reach me which he succeeded on the 26th, he was worried about me and told me not to take the worries of this life to heart and even told me "Abeg no die now o" we chatted and laughed together not knowing that would be our last discussion as he left us exactly a week later. Segun, we love you but God loves you most and may He give the family you left behind the fortitude to bear the great loss. Continue to rest in peace till we meet to part no more. Adieu my jovial and lively friend. PETER OLUKAYODE OGUNSANMI.
