Beloved wife of Gary Bruce Berns (January 16, 1938–January 14, 2020), loving mother to Deborah Gail Armus and Budd Alan Armus of Medford, N.J., and Jeffrey Joseph Berns and Richard Steven Bennett of Riverdale Park, Md. Grandmother to Michael Andrew Brown and Lauren Rose Armus; great-grandmother of Calvin Lachlan Brown. Sister to Jay William Eneman of Hewlett Bay Park, N.Y.
Longtime resident of Woodmere, N.Y., and Lakewood Ranch, Fla. Graduate of Cortland State Teachers College (now Cortland University) in August 1959, with honors, receiving a B.S. in Elementary Education. Watercolor painter and former Vice President of Creative Arts Association of Lakewood Ranch.
