It's hard to believe you've been gone this long. Life has been a whirlwind for sure. Lily is almost 13, she has a lot of your traits, she's sassy as all heck lol. She surprised me recently by asking about you. She wanted to know Sylvia's name so I told her, she asked where she lived. I asked if she wanted to talk to her someday and she said, "Why? She never called me" I also told her you have a brother and sister, she didn't ask their names so I didn't bother telling her. Your family has never been and will never be relevant to Lily. 

Where do I begin? So much has happened in the last 10 years. I often find myself daydreaming of what could've been. Lily starts Junior high this year! I look at her and am in awe of her beauty and personality,  we really do have the sweetest girl. We were in Texas last week and had an amazing time visiting friends and family. I know you're always with us in spirit. I love and miss you more than you know.

When Lily sees the American flag she says, "Daddy!!" and wants to touch it or kiss it. My baby will always be a Daddy's girl.
