My dear Son, 46 years ago we were all waiting for you to come into this world which was already filled with so much love for you. But you had other plans, you didn't want to face this world till March 2. The wait was well worth it.
My tears get stronger as this date approaches. You should still be here, you suffered so much, the last 10 years before you died. You have found Peace at last my Son, a peace that is eternal. I cry everyday, but I know it was "Your Way" and for this I am proud of you. Not proud because you left, but proud because you did what you wanted to do. You never really left us Pete, you are in the sun, the wind and the stars at night. I may not be able to see you, but I know you are right besides me.
