JOSH RYAN “SHAGGY” LARRISON passed away peacefully, surrounded by his family on Monday, April 16, 2018 at Mercy Hospital in Springfield at the age of 41. Josh was born on December 4, 1976 to Robert and Rosalie Larrison, in Emporia, Kansas. He was diagnosed with a connective tissue disorder known as Marfan Syndrome at the age of 4, and spent the rest of his life battling the disease.

Josh had several hobbies, including painting, drawing, computer repair and programming as well as home improvement projects. He was known for always helping others and selfless acts of kindness to all. He was a very humble man who worked hard for everything that he had. He was always checking up on friends and loved ones and sending words of encouragement. When it came to friends and family, he never missed a detail.

His greatest of joys was his wife, Mickey. They were married on October 16th, 2011. From the day that he first saw her, he lifted her up on a pedestal. To see them together was to witness magic. There truly is no purer form of love than the one that they shared. They loved to spend time travelling, working on their home, spending time with friends and family, gardening, and playing with their 3 fur babies. Not a moment was wasted.

Josh was preceded in death by his Grandmother, Donnie Larrison, his Grandfathers, Monte Larrison and Sherman Woodcock, his Aunt, Ida Little, his uncles, Jim Larrison and Sherman Wayne Woodcock and his cousins, Heather Terry and Brice Hughes.

Josh is survived by his wife, Mickey Larrison, his parents Bob and Rosalie Larrison, his sister, Mindy Larrison, his Grandmother, Juanita Channel, his father in-law and mother in-law, Duane and Trudy Dodson, his brother in-laws, Kevin Farrar, David Dodson and Ray Dodson, his Uncle Richard Larrison, his Aunts, Janice Larrison, Vicky Baum, Donna Lebow and Debbie Hughes, his nephews, Nicholas Larrison, Jaxton Dodson, Gunner Dodson and Kaidan Dodson, his nieces, Natalie Larrison, Mazie Farrar, Kymber Farrar, Lily Dodson and Paisley Dodson, his cousins Jeremy Phillips, Ryan Phillips, Trevor Hughes, Lakin Litchy, Amanda Burris, and Erin Smith as well as Josh and Mickey's three fur babies, Scuzzy, Jasper and Luna.

It's been a year and I miss you. You are in my thoughts every single day. So much has happened in my life. Some good, a lot bad. Wish you were around for me to vent. Look forward to seeing you again. Love you.

You will forever be a part of me, my friend. Nobody had more of an impact on my life than you did. You are a better man than I could ever hope to be. I profoundly believe that we will meet again in the next life and I look forward to that day.
