I just heard of the loss of Shahab. I worked with Shahab at Reliance Electric for many years, in fact we carpooled together for many of those years. He was so very proud of his family, the sports they played, their education, and character.

He called me just before COVID and told me of his illness. I was devastated that such a kind, loving and smart person was so sick. He didn’t call for sympathy, but to say goodbye, and thank me for being a friend. He was comfortable with his situation and was rightfully proud of his accomplishments, especially the family he and Nicole had raised. A role model for living a good, fulfilled life.

My condolences to Nicole and family, Shahab was a great person taken too soon.

I have not met many people more positive or generous than Shahab all my life. The biggest lesson I learned from him is to not take anything in life too seriously, unless it's the welfare of family and friends. His wit and wisdom will always stay with me.
