I had known Shannon for many, many years. Unfortunately from her young years the world caught up to her. Before time ended on earth for Shannon told me that she had a" great and wonderful life and new the Lord"

Shannon left us 3 years ago today. I think about you every day. You leave signs that you're still near me, watching over me. My recent trip to the ranch was an awesome one. Lunch with your mom, seeing Ruby Jane, visiting your memorial gardens. I was finally able to bring a bit of the OR coast to you, placing beach sand - shells - and driftwood on your garden. I know you are watching over my pets that have crossed, like we discussed many times. You are ALWAYS in my thoughts and heart. Love and miss you ♡

I knew Shannon in middle school, she use to make me laugh in class because she would write really funny notes, about some of the adventures we had. The really funny thing was, she would ham up our story and create a more exciting story. I lived with her for a short time after high school, in Northern California and she always had a free spirit with a great laugh and beautiful inside and out. We lost contact for many years after I moved, but rekindled our friendship before she passed. We had a chance to ketch-up and I know she is in a better place. To Holly and Bill sorry for your loss. Thank you for your kindness many years ago, I will never forget the family. Bless you!

Shannon will always be in my heart! She was a very "special" woman! She gave her heart to her family, friends, this planet, and the animals of this world. She went above and beyond to protect the animals of this world! I love you Shannon. I think of you every day and miss you very much. We will meet again one day...and share another wonderful magical journey together! ♡♡♡

The "Bunny"...

August 6, 2015

I will never forget the day Shannon found the "bunny". It was a cold winter day outside and she found the bunny nesting in the engine compartment of her Volkswagon Bug car. She called me and was so excited her bunny had a place to get out of the cold. Then that Spring her car wouldn't start. The bunny had chewed up all the wiring! It cost $800 in repairs. Holly, if your reading this, Shannon ask that I not tell you. Shannon had a very big heart, and would do anything to save/help an animal. I miss her humor, her big hugs, and the way she protected this earth and the animals on it! The world, family, friends, and animals have lost a special soul who loved all. I know you are up there watching over the animals like we talked about so many times. We agreed that who ever got there first would take care of each others animals until we met again and could do it together. One day we will meet again, and then we can both watch over the animals. Every time I send one of my special rescue pets over the bridge I know Shannon is there with open arms until I see them again. I guess I can take comfort in that some...but my heart is still feeling the loss. She was my friend, my sister, and I miss her every day...
