ForeverMissed

This memorial website was created in memory of our mom, Sharon Price, 61, born on August 22, 1955 and quickly passed away on April 9, 2017 from a brain aneurysm. If you knew her, you knew she was an incredibly spunky and tenacious woman, loved life and loved to help others, whether it be through nursing or at church. She was taken from us and her grandkids way too early, and we miss her so incredibly much. While she may not be on this earth, we know she is all around us, and will continue to watch over us.

We are having a Celebration of Life on June 10th from 11am-4pm at the Pavilion on Lake Bastrop (South Shore Park- 375 South Shore Rd, Bastrop, TX. 78602). We would love for you to come eat lunch with us, and bring some great stories to share! Please let us know you are coming, RSVP to 512-665-1753 or emtmartines@yahoo.com.

If you can't join us on June 10th, please feel free to leave us a message below about our mom! We know there are some great memories out there and we would LOVE to hear them!

It's amazing, I was just thinking about you a lot just a couple of days ago. I guess that's our forever connection, friends forever.  Visiting LaGrange and going down Tahitian Village I always remember the fun times and remember your beauty, inside and out.  Miss you my friend, and will be doing some Mass intentions now.

My friend I still have your last voicemail which I refuse to delete and your number in my contacts. Maybe I just don't want to let you go and it does help me to remember to keep you in prayer. I miss you and wish we had had more time together, but what time we had was precious. My condolences to the family as I'm sure you are still missing her as well.

Sharon was tough as nails and had a truly fiery spirit that was infectious. I worked as her Administrative Assistant at the state from 2014-2015. I pray for each of you and am so surprised to learn of Sharon's passing. My condolences to everyone especially her grandboys. You all are in my thoughts and prayers.

I miss my friend very much as I am sure you do as well. We had plans for the summer and I was so excited she was staying in Bastrop.  She was a beautiful kind and loving person who trusted in God with all her heart. My prayers are with her family and all her friends.

Light is what Ms Sharon brought! An expectation to do my very best or nothing at all. I will continue to strive to make her proud. Be blessed family! She spoke of how much she adored you often! I personally have been even still praying for you, and especially her Grandchild she asked for prayers for! May God rest her soul and peace be with you.

I am so very sorry for your loss. I worked with Sharon in denver about 11 years ago. I was a new nurse at the time and had just taken a travel assignment to denver from NC. I ended up at st Anthonys north hosilpital working with your mom, who was absolutely amazing! She had he most vivacious spirit I've ever seen. She took me under her wing as a newbie on a very tough and dysfunctional ER. I learned so very Much from her about speaking your mind and standing up for yourself in nursing, and also asking for help.  I will always hold a special place in my heart for her. She was an amazing woman and a dear friend. My deepest sympathies to you and your whole family. She will be missed.

Sharon taught me so many things. She had a great eye for fashion and decorating. Her family was the center of her world and she loved them immensely. She was so proud of them, especially her grandchildren. There wasn’t anything that she set her mind to that she could not accomplish. I had the pleasure of working with her and was in awe of her zest for life.  We shared many laughs and cried tears together.  I often think about her impact on my life and I am grateful! She was beautiful inside and out. Prayers for you and your family❤️
