Sharon Louise Angel, 71, of Dayton, Ohio passed away on July 6, 2014 after losing her battle with cancer.
She was born Sharon Shafer in Vallejo, California on October 3, 1941 to Rev. Ivan Beam Shafer and Edith Muriel (Perry) Shafer. Sharon graduated from Fairview High School in Dayton, Ohio and then went on to college at the Prairie Bible Institute in Alberta, Canada. Among many professions she was a Bank Teller, a receptionist, and a kindergarten teacher.
She was married to Howard Hegner from 7/11/64 to 7/11/1984. They had two children, Ron Hegner and Denelle Hartt. She had 8 grandchildren and one great-grandson. Sharon married the late Robert Audley Angel on Mar 27, 1986. Robert had two children, Tammy (Alan) Collins and Trudy (Mike) Poppas and a granddaughter, Kelsey. Sharon and her husband enjoyed raising their dogs and watching NASCAR races.
Sharon was a beloved member of her church and leaves behind friends and family who miss her dearly.
Sharon will be laid to rest next to her husband Robert Audley at Holp Cemetary in Jackson, OH. A private ceremony for family members will be scheduled at a later time.
