Sharon Lynn Gonzalez, of Middlesex Borough, NJ passed away on October 1, 2019.
After battling multiple health issues, her suffering was ended and peace received, as Sharon went to be with Lord. Her passing was handled by a caring staff at Robert Wood Johnson Medical Center in Somerville, New Jersey.
Sharon was born in Plainfield, New Jersey and raised in Middlesex, New Jersey, where she attended school, graduating from Middlesex High School in 1977. Before becoming ill, Sharon held various positions in the retail food industry. She loved to joke with those around her and looked forward, each fall, to planting flowers, which brought her great joy.
Sharon is survived by her daughter Heather Gonzalez Betancourt and granddaughter Charlotte of Texas, daughter Stephanie Gonzalez of Middlesex, NJ, sister Donna Weigand Wurtz of Lake Wales, Fl, as well as several nephews, a niece and grand nephews and nieces.
Sharon was preceded in death by her husband, John Gonzalez, and her parents, Charles B. and Dorothy Weigand.
