More than just an employer..

January 6, 2015

I met Sharon on January 30 th, 2012. Sharon was looking for a pet sitter for her two dogs, Oscar and Max.  Sharon had such a warm smile when I met her at the door.  She also met Sky, my daughter, whom was 3 years of age at the time.  We enjoyed each other's company as we discussed the job details and I never knew how much she would become a part of my life and the lives of my family.
Sharon was diagnosed with throat cancer in early 2014. She had multiple surgeries and chemo.  Throughout this time, I became her caregiver when I visited the dogs.  She became a friend and absolutely loved seeing Sky everyday.  I even came on the weekends, when she needed me to check on her.
She was my first pet sitting employer.
I will always be grateful that she shared her home, her life and the love of her dogs with my family and I.
I love you Sharon.
