to say hi !! You will always be in my heart !!
Love you !!
Sharron Calarco Angolano, 69, passed away on February 5, 2012 with her family by her side. She was born in Hyannis, Massachusetts on October 27, 1942.
She was predeceased by her husband Charles, her parents Dominic and Florence Calarco, and her sister Sandra Goddard. Sharron was devoted to her family and is survived by her children Amy Angolano, Beth Angolano and Brian Dreibelbis, Dan Angolano, Tony and Alissa Angolano, and Cheryl Farr; her eight grandchildren Emily, Morgan, Gretchen, Lauren, and Noah Dreibelbis, Hannah, Julia, and Andrew Angolano; and her long time best friend Barb Risik.
A graduate of Trinity College, Sharron received her Master’s degree from St. Michael’s College. She was on the faculty at Trinity College for over 20 years and was a founder and Head of Finance at Mercy Connections.
Sharron’s love of travel led her to many faraway places such as India, Korea, China, France, and Italy. She would often embark on spur-of-the-moment trips with her children and grandchildren, including a memorable trip to Plattsburgh which involved a ferry ride and an airplane.
Sharron played the piano and had an appreciation of music and the performing arts. After seeing Mamma Mia on Broadway several years ago she developed an infatuation with ABBA which has been passed down to her grandchildren, who can now sing many of their hit songs.
Sharron gave so much to so many people as a wife, a mother, a grandmother, an aunt, a friend, and a teacher. Her penchant for spontaneous adventures, her infectious laugh, and a truly positive outlook on life leave all who knew her with fond memories and heavy hearts. She lived her life with a unique combination of wisdom and wonder that was aptly expressed in a quote she wrote in her best friend’s high school yearbook, “Our life is God’s gift to us. What we do with it is our gift to God”.
Thank you God for the gift of Sharron and may she rest in peace.
