Tributes
Leave a tributeI am totally broken up by this as I am literally just finding out that you passed. For a time in our lives we were as close as brothers - from running around Surrey Square and the Suitland area as knucklehead teenagers through me coming to hang out with you at Virginia State for one of their homecomings while your were there playing football. I remember all the arguing and joneing we did back and forth. If we didn't do anything else when we got together, we were going to do some laughing. Those were really good times. We fell out of touch over the past 10 years or so, but I was trying to catch back up with you today when I contacted CB and he told me you were gone. You were one of the best and loyal friends I had and I will miss you immensely. RIP Lil Heavy! I love you brother. My prayers will be for your family and especially your beautiful children.

I love you and miss you DAD!!! Your Daughter - Sierra
Thank you for giving me life. Although were not able to spend a lot of time together; you were always there for me when I was in need. I only wish we had more time; so that you could see me grow into a man. Rest in paradise; until we meet again.
Your Son – Evan
It breaks my heart to know that you’re gone; even though I know you are in a better place. I still wish we had more time to make our wrongs right. Despite of differences you made it very clear how much you loved me. You will forever be in my heart; watch over me as I continue to make you proud. Rest in paradise Dad; I love you!

Psalm 30:11
Let God be your source of comfort. In those times when you are hurting, just ask Him to comfort you. Then wait in His presence while he works in your heart and emotions. He will not fail you, if you will only give Him a chance to come to your aid. God has the final say and he does not make mistakes. Give God the Glory even in our sorrow!
