Shawn was one of the most humble people I ever met. He always had a smile and displayed sensitivity for others. Heaven truly gained a wonderful angel.
This past Halloween, Shawn celebrated his 4 year anniversary with DE. Three years were with the Compensation team which was like a family. Shawn spent countless hours hanging out with coworkers. The team did a lot together. Shawn was a huge support, through good and tough times, and was the core of the group. Shawn was a humble man and would make sacrifices for anyone. His character was like no other. Shawn displayed the true characteristics and DE values on a daily basis and will truly be missed.
Please pray for his family and ask for healing to those individuals dealing with the loss.

Shawn was one the most welcoming people I knew. When I first moved to Houston Shawn was one the first people I got to know due to how welcoming he was. His interest in someone always felt genuine and rarely did I have a conversation with him where it was ever about him. He always took an interest in others and truly listened.
