Her Life

Work and Interests

July 16, 2012

Sheila was a talented woman.  Her mother was a professional  piano teacher, and Sheila played.  Her mother wanted her to be a concert pianist, but Sheila, after graduating from high school, elected to join the working world.

Sheila began her working life with a career as a civilian dispatcher with Greater Sudbury Police in 1977.   She was excellent at her job until her illness took over.
As of the date of her death in October of 2009, she had not worked full time for a number of years.

Sheila loved to read romance novels, and she loved to knit.  She had a keen sense of humor, and once she was your friend, she was forever loyal.
She liked listening to Barbara Streisand, and she was staunchly traditional in her general outlook on life.
