Her Life

Dedication to Shelbi Rose Lipowski from her Chorus group at Pawcatuck Middle School CT.

February 13, 2023
Shelbi loved to sing, she had joined her Chorus group when she started in middle school and she was always walking around singing everywhere, Taylor Swift was her favorite artist and I wish so badly that I would have been able to take her to see her in concert before she passed. I loved Music as much as she did (that is probably where she got her love for music). One of our favorite things to do was take long rides and sing as loud as we could to our favorite songs so it is no surprise that when she passed she used Music to contact the people she loved. The song that EVERYONE started hearing at that time was Photograph by Ed Sheran and the year after she passed her entire chorus group did a dedication just for Shelbi for their spring concert. This is the video below!

Shelbi was love. Everything about her was peace, and love. She was a gift of light in a world of darkness. Everything she ever did was selfless. She never understood the pain this world could cause & tried very hard to show others how to shine as bright as she did by being the true axample of that everyday.
Shelbi passed at a time in any child's life that is difficult. She was 13 and in middle school and any parent can attest that middle school for any child is the hardest. They are trying to find themselves, set boundaries and learn who they are beyond their parents or what has been taught to them.
During this time, although hard, she never allowed anything or anyone to change who she was. She wouldn't conform, or change not even when other children picked on her. She always took those times as an opportunity to show those people another way of being. She forgave those hurting because within her soul she was aware that only hurt people, hurt other people. She was a free spirit who I now belive came into this world to show others the importance of remaining true to yourself.  She was childlike even at 13, an innocence about her, yet at the same time wise beyond her years. She is missed every single day by all those who's lives she touched, and will forever remain alive within our hearts and the gifts she continues to share through all who knew her.
