Childhood

October 11, 2010

Running out of the door on 37 Moraga Drive s fast as I could down to Shelli's..only four houses away but it seemed like miles. Across the lawns, over the coal field of Mr. Artichoke's house , round the big tree, up the steps and in the house I went.

Shelli's house was a cornucopia of toys, a miniature Toys-R-us.."let's do something". We were off...playing. Playing in the gutters, playing in the streets on Big Wheels and Green Machines, Hoppety Horses, Kick N Go's..if they had it, we played with it.

My childhood was surreal growing up in Chico with Shelli. Pure Bliss, freedom, adventure, dogs, toys, bikes, Lindo Channel, snakes, frogs, forts,  the ice cream man!!

Everything thing a childhood could be..and it was, it truly was!

Thank you Shelli, for being in my childhood...a childhood that only dreams are made of.

xoxo

Always,

Kristina
