SHERYL (Sheri) JEANETTE LEAVY-ULRICH

age 48, died unexpectedly on April 24, 2015 in North Bend, WA.

She was born May 6, 1966 in Minneapolis, MN, to Ila Jean Sloan-Leavy and the late Thomas Harold Leavy.

Sheri graduated from Greeley West High School in 1984 and from the University of Colorado Boulder in 1989 with a B.A. in Humanities.

She was a student abroad in Reading, England for one year.  She enjoyed travel, and physical challenges such as completing the half marathon in England, climbing Mt. Hood in Oregon and Long's Peak in Colorado. 

Sheri was a wonderful singer and performer in Greeley musicals with The Agape Players, high school casts, and The Stampede Troupe.  She also performed in Ft. Lewis College productions and CSU Summer theater. 

Sheri taught aerobics, worked for Jenny Craig, then made a career as a technical recruiter in Seattle. 

Family was central to her, especially her daughter Abigail, her beacon and joy.

Sheri is survived by her daughter Abigail Sloan Ulrich (Snoqualmie, WA), her stepsons Tyler Ulrich & Nick Ulrich, her brother Jonathan Leavy (Oakland, CA), and mother Ila Jean Leavy (Greeley, CO).
Other survivors include aunts, uncle, six cousins and numerous friends.

A Celebration of Sheri's life will be held on Saturday June 13th, at 4pm at The First Congregational Church of Greeley, CO.
