Ms. Sherrill Denise Barnes was born April 2, 1977 to Sherry Barnes and Donald Turner in Chambers County, AL. She departed this life on April 8, 2014 at the EAMC-Lanier Hospital, Valley, AL.

Sherrill accepted Christ at an early age and united with the Emanuel Chapel CME, West Point, GA.

She was a product of the West Point Public Schools and was a member of the 1996 class of Troup High School, LaGrange, GA.

Sherrill was an avid dancer and she loved to entertain her family and friends. She was loved by all.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Mattie Pearl Pollard, Wash Winston Jones and Willie B. Flournoy, Sr.

She leaves to cherish her loving earthly memories: a wonderful son, Kelvarskii D. Barnes, West Point, GA; a beautiful daughter, Zaquaya S. Barnes, West Point, GA; her loving mother, Sherry Barnes, West Point, GA; a devoted father, Donald Turner, Valley, AL; step-father, Terry Barnes, Lanett, AL; four loving sisters, Amaryllis(Thomas)Walker, Lanett, AL; Robyn(Vincent) Dozier, Lanett, AL; Erica McLemore and Kathy Avery, Lanett, AL; a lovely grandmother, Vinnie Lou Jones, West Point, GA; a host of aunts and uncles, six nephews, Cameron McLemore, Valley, AL; Desbre’ Finley, Deontavious Barnes, Justin Avery, Ryan Avery and Bralon Avery, Lanett, AL; a beautiful niece, Katlyn Houston, Lanett, AL; godmother, Thelma Williams and a host of other relatives and friends; special friends, Paul and Irene Truitt and Henry Lee Booker.
