"And Moses took the bones of Joseph with him, for he had straitly sworn the children of Israel saying, God will surely visit you; and ye shall carry up my bones away hence with you.  Exodus 13:19".  Following Moses' example, we are honored to carry the bones of Bishop S. C. Johnson with us always.

This memorial website was created in the memory of our loved one, Bishop Sherrod C. Johnson. We will remember him forever and ever.  We commemorate the 50th Anniversary of his passing.  He was the founder and pastor of the Church of the Lord Jesus Christ of the Apostolic Faith, headquartered in Philadelphia, Pa.  Called to the ministry by God Almighty, he established the largest Apostolic Faith movement in the world. 

During his lifetime, his accomplishments were many.  He built and bought many churches and parsonages, including the famous John Wanamaker church building in Philadelphia.  When it burned to the ground, by faith, he built a million dollar edifice in its place.  His network of radio broadcast stations covered the entire globe.  Most important, he preached the whole truth gospel to thousands of men and women; defending the same in many biblical debates.

Although he is no longer with us in the flesh, his spirit and teachings remain alive to this day through his recorded tape messages.  That is why, on the 50th anniversary of his passing, the saints, his spiritual children, will continue to hear, obey, remember and love Bishop Johnson until the Lord Jesus comes to rapture His church.
