This memorial website was created in memory of our loved one, Sherry McCray, 77 years old, born on January 7, 1944, and passed away on May 2, 2021. We will remember her forever.

Her Life
Sherry passed away Sunday, May 2, 2021.

Sherry was born to Donna G. Fineran and James Blane Fineran on January 7, 1944 at the U.S. Army Air Corps Base in Harlingen, Texas.

Sherry was a faithful member of the old Walnut Hills Church of Christ and later Clifton Church of Christ for 61 years having served as treasurer for the church at Clifton for 40 years.

Sherry is survived by Waynuel E. McCray, husband, daughters, Jennifer Lynn / Paul Rylatt, Laura Lynn / Rob Vonderhaar and Holly Melissa / David Minor.  Sons, Shaun Arland and Lisa McCray and Aaron Daniel and Kim McCray.

13 Grandchildren; Samantha, Ben, Cassidy, Jared, Joshua, Jonas, Cody, Caleb, Kara, Owen, Allie, Avery and Kensley.  Great-grandchildren; August and EmmyLane.

She is also survived by her brother Ross / Carolyn Fineran and a Sister Lurline / Don Keyser and seven nieces and nephews.

Sherry was a faithful follower of Jesus Christ and the Gospels.  She was her husband’s precious Sherry Lynn for 56 years.  Also, we must include that she was a precious MiMi to all who know and loved her.  She was loved dearly by any person who got to know her.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Howell’s MillsChristian Assembly, 99 Christian Camp Road, Ona, West Virginia 25545 c/o Tim Yankey.
