My dearest Sherry! I had such a hard time coming here to write this, because writing a tribute would make it real that you're no longer here. I have so many fond memories of you from high school... I remember how creative you were, and how you would write scripts for the plays we had in our room in Jss1(Gold 3), I remember your laugh and how full of life you were! I remember how much you loved fashion, music, dancing and how we bonded over our love for Gossip Girl. I'm truly going to miss you and I know you're in a better place. Rest well, angel. May God comfort your family and friends and give them peace that passes all understanding.

Sherry Coco, your beautiful spirit, smile and laughter is what I would never forget about you. We had so much fun in Vivian Fowler with our little crew ( Me, You, Onyekachi, Amaka). Lipgloss queens and noise makers. We basically formed a live band and became musicians lol. I cannot tell that chapter in my life without the beautiful moments we had together. I am completely heartbroken you’re no longer with us, I cannot show you our old pics and laugh about silly we were. God knows best. You were an Angel placed in all of our lives, for every moment i shed a tear over your loss, I still smile because you were so cheery, selfless, and beautiful. I am very grateful that I had the pleasure of knowing you and spending time with you. You were truly special. I still see you smiling ❤️❤️.

I just remembered your walk. You moved as if the thing that propelled you forward could not wait- it needed to be done, needed to be said. Your smile was easy, always broke on your face like a flower teasing open to sunshine.

You were at the heart of everything. You were so full of life - nothing could contain your energy. You were curious about everyone and everything and you were so unafraid. Sometimes it annoyed me, most times it awed me.

Your name vibrated through campus everyday. "Sherry! Sherry Etu!!" Lmao. Your boundless energy always got you in trouble. You made campus so much fun for the rest of us.

VF girls created a whatsapp group recently and your name appeared again. Only to hear that you had passed away, and so soon too. Nobody deserves to die, least of all you. I wish I could attend your funeral just to see you one more time. You're forever beautiful.

Ohh Sherry! I heard about this just yesterday, a moment when I was just so excited about our VFMC 07 chat group that was just created. I was about to type your name hoping you would respond on the group and the next thing I saw was this news. 

Oh Sherry! You were so beautiful. You were lively, so lively I must say and I wanted us to connect again since it has been 12 years since secondary school. 

Sigh! I hope you are resting well. I pray that God grants your family the fortitude to bear this loss. 

May your soul and the souls of all the faithful departed through the mercy of God rest in perfect peace. AMEN

Bask on Darling, astonished I must say. You have played your part on this stage of life, might be short but it was worthwhile as I reflect on how accommodating and humble you were. God bless your cheerful soul. You are in the best place which is the bosom of the Lord, free of trials and tribulations of the earth. Will always be loved and remembered.
