Tomorrow Came Too Soon
I didn't know when the phone rang early that Saturday morning
that my heart will be shattered
my eyes will fill with tears
as our family surrounded you i didn't want it to be real
i thought back to our time together
all our ups and downs
too soon the nurse came and said
were taking her down to the morgue now
it made it so final
my heart was breaking
one final kiss goodbye was all i could do
the memorial was beautiful
surrounded by all the family that we loved
now all i have are pictures and memories of you and me
everything happens for a reason
this i know is true
one thing i learned from losing you
don't hold grudges
let things go
i'm telling you this so that you will know
my mom wasn't perfect
this we all know is true
you think you have forever
to let things go
do the things you putt off
but the truth is
tomorrow can be your forever
you could miss your chance
don't hold grudges
let things go
always say I love you
Tomorrow comes to soon
