I miss you every day. Your family misses you terribly too. We all know that you are asleep in the arms of Jesus, and that you're not in pain

Shirley, it is hard to believe that it has already been a year that you were called home to be with Jesus.I /we miss you everyday.It all seems like a bad dream that we are unable to wake up from.I know that you are seeing sights untold, and that you are happy in the arms of Jesus, that is what gets us through this. I miss my mom more everyday. I can only imagine her smile when she looked upon his face. She has won the battle and shes received her mansion. I will always cheirsh every memory. I love you mommy and I will miss you until we meet again.

A very loving lady, who helped raise some of the best people I know. They are a living testimony to the person she was. Her memory will never be forgotten She was amazingly strong, a fighter I know this first hand. Rest With Jesus you beautiful Angel.

I first met Shirley in 1982 at a little Lord Jesus church at Grapevine ,W.V. I didn't know at that time however that a couple of years later we would become best friends for over 30 years.We were in church together for years. She, her husband Saul my husband Tommy and our children. Shirley was one of the biggest hearted pepo;e I've had the pleasure of meeting and calling my best friend. If she was around you knew it. You heard her way before you ever saw her. She had a smile and a laugh that would light up a room. I miss her so much. She touched my life and I am a much better person for having done so. I have so many fond memories of her, places we went together ,things we all done together, being in church and praising God together. All these are memories that I will never forget. I loved her dearly, and even though the past few years we didn't get to see each other near as much as we would have liked she and Saul were/are always in our hearts. SHE SURELY IS GONE TO SOON. She is home now with Jesus. She served God her whole life ,now she is with her Lord and saviour Jesus Christ awaiting the day when she will be reunited with her husband, children, family and friends. Until we meet again my friend.........
