I only met Shirley a few times but she always left an impression of a strong willed compassionate woman. Being a roommate to her son Bill for 2 years in college, I came to know quite a lot about her and the son she raised. If she was anything like Bill, she was independent and non swaying of her beliefs and feelings. I am certain she is glad to finally be joined again with her husband.

God blessed me with the most beautiful and wonderful woman in the world, my sister, second mom and best friend. We shared a bond I wish everyone could have. She was my security and I was hers. We always said to one another, "This is not good to be this close." we will be together again in heaven someday and never to be separated from one another again.
