Her Life

Mom's Life at the Court

April 6, 2013
Shirley moved to the Court at Pringle Creek in May 2010 following the death of her husband of nearly 60 years ~ George Murray. Having never lived on her own, this was a big step for her, but step out she did and she created a wonderful new life for herself. New friends and although she never stopped missing George, happiness and joy in her new life and responsibilities. She took over running the craft room and started a knitting group called the Knit and Knatter. They knit up loads of hats, mitts, scarves and other small items for the annual bazaar and as well for donations to Denise House. She became an integral member of the Pringles community, loved by all. In fact, after her death, I was told that she was the Court's angel.
