Shirl this is so hard to write, knowing you are no longer with us. I know you told us you were ready to go, but it’s so hard to let you go. We know you are pain free and reunited with Buddy❤️. We have so many beautiful memories and you will always be in our heart. We’ve been friends for 30 years, we met when are sons played football, lots of Friday night football, dinners and shopping. You were more like a sister to me, you open your home to everyone and treated everyone like family. We were both roller coaster enthusiasts especially Busch Garden and the Apollo Chariot. Since day one you stood by my side. You loved me for who I was and you never once judged me. You held my hand when I was scared. You hugged me like you never wanted to let go! Your smile would light up a room everywhere you'd go. You made me laugh when all I wanted to do was cry. You made me who I am today, a strong independent woman who loves, cherishes, and supports her family no matter what. You taught me how to be brave and strong when I was weak and tired. You loved unconditionally. I honestly think this is one of the hardest things I'll have to deal with, without you. I always know you'll listen to me even though your not physically here.
