My Dad

January 10, 2022
Dad, thank you for being my dad. I’m glad God gave me you as a dad. We never had the perfect family but at least we wasn’t fake and hid everything…. We had good times and bad times and it gives me something to think about and laugh about. I finally got married and my husband is just like you… Ford Lover, man of not so many words, works all the time, loves antique vehicles and yes I have been the hot headed German tempered wife just like mom— I hold my part just like I always did growing up being one of the (boys) and fighting my way through things. Dad you would have liked David wish you could have met him. Mom got to meet him and she loved him and said he was better to her than her own kids, lol… mom always told it how it was. Dad, your granddaughter has 2 babies that you would be spoiling to death if you was living—you would be out there every morning picking them up to go hang out at McDonald’s. I think about you so much and talk to my husband about you and things you done while I was growing up—yeah I told on myself and on the run from the cops, lol…but you saved me, lol… Thank goodness I got myself together and gave up the fighting and cussing to now I’m in church and love my church that I grew up in.  God has been good to me all the time. I will see you in Heaven when it’s my time. Give mom and hug and kiss and tell her I love her and tell Jesus I can’t wait to run through those pearly gates and walk on streets of gold and see the milk and honey flowing. I can’t imagine what it’s going to be like but I know it’s going to be better than this place down here. I love you dad… your babygirl angel
