Shirley will fondly be remembered by me. I met her years ago and shared my every morning with her in her store. She always had a witty greeting or a fascinating story. Shirley was a formidable opponent and could give it as well as receive it. No one messed with her. She would tell you just the way it was going to be. I loved this no bs way about her. Later I had the pleasure of becoming fast friends with her daughter and family. I cherish my memories of Shirley. I do hope the pain of her passing will be replaced with the joy of the many memories recalled.
