This memorial website was created in the memory of our loved one, Shirley Jones who was born on August 3, 1937 and passed away on January 28, 2011. We will remember her forever.

My intention for creating this site was born out of the need, both for closure and the desire to share her memories with her friends and family members.  Mom did not desire a ceremony or any funeral services - she did not care for such gatherings.  But, somehow it is human nature to want to honor and remember those we love that have passed on.

You most likely will find things on this site that you did and did not know about Shirley - and please by all means, please feel free to share anything at all that you would like to contribute. Thats the purpose of this site - so please share!!

This page will be the overall general information about Mom.  The tab above that says "Her Life" is a page that is set up like a biography.  This will be under construction for some time, I will add to it as I can.  Help from anyone is appreciated.  The "Gallery" tab is a place to share pictures, songs, or videos.  Again, please feel free to upload anything you like.  The "Stories" tab is a place to share any stories, memories, or anything else you might like to write about Mom.  If nothing else, please click on this page and write as little, or as much as you like.  There are no limits.  It is a great blessing to see all the stories people have to share about Mom, so please do not be shy.

Shirley Jones was a amazing, hard-working, busy, caring woman.  She loved animals, especially her horses and kitties.  She loved to read.  She was one of the hardest working people I ever knew.
