To my Mom! It's been one year since your transition!

July 9, 2015

Mom,

My best friend, and my heart and soul! Thank you for visiting my dreams throughout this year! I feel you in my heart every single day! I can't believe it's been a year since you left this world! Time goes so fast, and yet I still feel like it hasn't been that long since you were hear with us!

I know you are in a wonderful place full of unconditional love, peace, and no pain! How I imagine how you fill the other world with so much of your beautiful love! The best part of you of which you are so missed for in this world. How lucky for all of the other angel and spirits who get to meet your precious spirit! I continue to feel your spirit here, and I know you are watching over me as well of all your girls! I still remember the early morning you had transitioned, it was so powerful! I knew immediately that you were OK, and watched over by Granma and many other loved ones from the other side!

I of course still miss picking up the phone, and having our very long chats about life! Those very insightful moments you would share with me, and your amazing ability to just listen to me! I've never met anyone who could just listen the way you did! I remember all of your art projects, and I sill have many of the jewelry you made for me! Once of my best recent memories of you during one of my visits is when we went shopping at Michaels, and you demonstrated all of your gems in the art room! It was wonderful to share the excited and joy with you on designing jewelry together!

Now, Dad is with you there! I know you are taking good care of him, and I'm sure he is by your side also taking care of you! I know now he just didn't want to be without you in his life, which is why is left this world faster then expected! That's how much he loved you!

Please continue to visit me in my dreams and in whatever way you can! I love you so much, and miss you all the time! Please visit me and give me one of your loving hugs and laughter! I need it very much now!

I love you mom, and until the next time I see you I will continue to feel you in my heart!

Happy Birthday Mom

August 6, 2014

I know you are in a different place now, but I wish you a happy birthday. I wanted to celebrate your life anyway, because you are still very much alive in my heart and will always be alive for the rest of my days. Last night Anne and I watched old home videos of us when we were teenagers, and young adults just starting college. We were so young and cute! I wanted to hug myself, LOL! We were laughing and acting out skits from movies at the time. Basically we were make fun of the movie and ourselves. We really let it out with holding back! We had such youthful and fun spirits and we would make one silly joke and routine after another. There was no stopping us from having our own kind of creative fun! At one point, we could hear your voice in the background laughing at us, as we were obviously intoxication by youthful laughter! All of these elements of this time of our life are a reflection of what you had taught us. How to just laugh at ourselves no matter what, and just have fun, no matter what! Your spirit lives within all of us (Erin, Anne, and myself). You always embraced our craziness and allowed us to just be ourselves. I’m so grateful that you allowed us to be this way without judging us in any way. You gave us that freedom. I hope to always keep this youthful spirit, and I hope you can still laugh at our silliness down here in this world. God knows there will be plenty of opportunities to laugh at us! I love you mom!

Hugs

July 30, 2014

All my life my mom would give me her hugs that would instantly make me feel loved, and healing. She always knew how to make me feel better no matter was going on in my life. Even if I didn't get a chance to hug her in a while, as soon as I would be able to hug my mom, all was better.

I'm already missing my moms hugs, yet I will always remember all of the hugs that my mom has givin me! Those loving hugs will give me a live time of love and healing support until I can one day recieve them in the next life!

I love you mom!!!

My Mother!

08 A Sky Full of Stars

When I was a child, my mother would often times come home from shopping, and bring us a surpirse.  It could be anything from a toy we were hoping to get, or something simple like candy.
Of course, there were times she would go home and she would come home empty handed, beside a handful of bags from shopping, but nothing for us! How we were heartbroken!!
But then next time we would asked, "Did you get us a surprise, Mommy?" She would play like she didn't have anything, and saw our faces turn downward, even though she tried to hide it, she couldn't help but laugh.
Then we would suspect, that she is messing with us!  "Yes, I got you girls a surprise!"  How that would make us happy!!!!
She was so great in creating these magical moments for us!!  She liked doing it, and made our childhood something magical to remember!!
Love you Mommy!! I am still waiting for my next surprise!

Aunt Shirley holding my brother Kevin. The only picture I have of her. My story: When I was young, Aunt Shirley used to pour a little beer on my head, rub it in a bit and tell me it was good for my scalp...so I let her keep doing it lol. Remember her since of humor, her smile, her laugh and her all around good nature and you will smile every time.  I love you sooooo much aunt shirley and always will. ~Greg Kollenborn~

My life with Shirley

July 11, 2014

Shirley gave me life, unconditionaly, on my terms.  She gave me children and made my house a home for many.  She enabled me to be a responsable father.  I am thankful I was able to her provide enough to make her life a loving reality.

My Mom

08 Hello Again
To my mother who I loved so much, she was a gift to this world, a True Earth Angel. She had a never ending ability to love unconditionally to those who needed love and help so many people including myself. She is the definitely of humanity, and she lived by it every day of her life. She always would give her smiles and hugs to those who needed it even without knowing. I always will long for those hugs and her big smile. She was always there for me in more ways then I knew. She gave me advice without any judgements, but with only true love's intention. She was love and will always be love. Anyone who would cross her path has no choice but to feel her love. I will live by this forever and continue what she had thought me, which is to treat people with kindness, creativity, and love. This is only a brief description of my mother. I love you mom, and I felt you graduate from this world in that very moment. I felt your spirit. May you find peace and love in the next plain of existence!
