Shirley was a resident of the Grayhill Community in West Point, Georgia. Born and raised in Juno Beach, Florida, she moved here in 1991.

Survivors include husband Terry Emerson Smallwood, her son, Ronald Paul Swartz, her daughter Sa”Leah Marie Smallwood, stepchildren Michall Bushell, Terry Smallwood, Jr. Tonya Smallwood and bushels of friends.
