Siby shared 7-years with our mom and dad before I came along, so I can't speak much to that except for one neat story.  As it was told to me, my soon to be family had just moved to MPLS from Laurens, S.C.  They rented an apartment in a multi-story apartment building in South MPLS that had a common utiliy room in the basement.  Each apartment or at least each floor was equipped with a laundry chute designed to expedite clothes travel from the upper floors to the laundry facilities in the basement.  You're way ahead of me by now I know.

      Siby, being the adventurer that she turned out to be decided to take a short trip down the chute on a day when both mom and dad were home at the same time. As told to me, they realized what had happened about the same time and dad turned three (3) flights of stairs into three (3) stairs getting to the basement where he found my sweet big sister drowning in tears on top of a basket full of dirty clothes!!!

      Sib never stopped trying out various chutes all of her wonderful life, blessedly surviving all but one.
