Tribute by Wilson Ndumu

Dear mum,

I will always miss you and never forget about you. You were always by my side and never gave up. I did not know your illness was very bad because you told me you were coming home to see me.  You said I should work hard and never give up. I wanted you to see me grow up, go to a grammar school; graduate at university and see me when I am older. When we were together, we always had fun and helped each other. You made me happy and took care of me. I am very sad that you had to die because you believed in everything that I did and never said I was bad at anything. You kept praying and never said why it had to be you suffering pain.

Lots of love Wilson

Sidonie,

My dear friend, wife and mum

Your illness was a shock to us, but you made sure it wasn't a burden to those who knew you and lived a dignified life under excruciating pain. I want to thank you for all the love and care you showered us during those challenging moments of your life. Your faith in God guided us throughout your illness and made me understand how important your mission of serving God was. Your dedication to our son, as a mother, his best friend will be cherished until we meet again. Your body is dead but your spirit is still alive and will live forever. “Cucu” you have left a void in us, but your legacy will remain throughout our life.

Love

Henry A Ndumu.
