A BRIEF KUDOS TO A GREAT FATHER AND A MENTOR.   Death, you are a fool. I know your visit is inevitable and a necessary end.Thank God you came to daddy at the right time,when we do not have any cause to be sad or share tears.The reason is that our daddy lived a very fulfiled and successful life before his demise, and to the glory of God, The word of God came to pass in his life while on earth-."I WILL BLESS YOU WITH EVERYTHING, INCLUDING OLD AGE." we love you so much, But the almight whose authority and decisions are not questionable, love you most.
I personally miss your ever smiling face which represented love, joy and happiness at all times.
Daddy rest in the bosom of the Lord, until we meet to part no more.

TRIBUTE TO A GREAT MAN
You have fought a good fight, ran a good race and finished strong on this side of eternity, yet you live on through the legacies and memories you have left behind for us all to emulate. You were a living proof of how fine and disciplined a man can be. Indeed you were a great man standing tall above your contemporaries. We sure will miss you Sir. Rest on in God's bosom till the resurrection morning

Grandpa, I am heartbroken that you’re gone and I wish we had more time together. Growing up my father would tell us stories about the type of man you are. An educator that was strong and disciplined. You have taught this entire family the importance of education and the value it brings. This is what my father upholds and I thank you for that. You have been an inspiration to me and I will miss you dearly. You can rest now knowing that your legacy will forever live on. I love you.

God called home another faithful saint. Sir Adoghe you will be missed, but we are comforted by the knowledge that he will be embraced by our Lord. Thank you for the the time spent with us, giving us love, encouragement, and the many parables to look to for life’s tips. As we grieve, we celebrate you now and always. Adieu until we see again.

Caring grandpa always giving us words of encouragement. You were happy to hear I was in university. You taught me to pour wine and serve it correctly. You are forever missed Grandpa.

Rest in peace, grandpa. You left behind a good reputation and a loving family. I'll always be grateful for the strong values you instilled in your children that have also shaped us, your grandchildren and kept the family as tight-knit as it is today. You lived a full life indeed.

Daddy, there is no words to describe how we dealt with the unbearable grief of losing you but I can never forget about the lifetime of experience that I have shared with you, and the countless lesson I have learnt from you. Daddy, you were a great dad, a great mentor, teacher and disciplinarian who never fail to tell the truth no matter how hard it may be.
You are a man of peace, and always happy for others people success.although 90 years is a life of celebration, I wish you can stay with us longer but we can not question our maker. Daddy, you leave a memorable and wonderful life and I have no doubt you are in the mist Of angels celebrating you.

Daddy, we your family will miss you so much, the people of St. Paul parish will miss you, the Okuta community will forever miss their peace maker, a man of excellent and who always stand by the truth, the Ebelle people will miss you and Christ the king Catholic Church Ebelle parish will miss you for your great contribution for the development of the church.

Daddy,your passing unto eternal glory on the 26th of April,2021 will forever remain in our hearts. We love you but God loves you more.you were Anointed by the priest on the 25th and passed on the following day,what a glorious exit. Daddy, am happy that l had the opportunity to tell you how much l appreciated you on your last birthday . Daddy, your sacrifices in raising us and leading us to christ is much appreciated. Daddy you taught us how to be contented and be grateful in all circumstances. My Daddy, you loved God, never going late to church. You were a good man, a father that loved his children, always trying to carry everyone along, you loved your family and community. You were not one to indulge in gossip, you hated falsehood, oppression, and laziness. Growing up, l thought you were too strict,but having grown up, l appreciate and thank God for your firmness in raising us. He characteristically and impeccably, knew GOD Almighty, knew the Esan Culture, knew Knowledge,, knew Moral Counsel / Discipline; He then Gallantly and Unassailably led His Wife, as well as All His Children, Centripetally, along that Noble Path... With His Towering Fatherly Figure and Leverage, He was A Dear Friend of Good Counsel... He'll be sorely missed, albeit a surreal experience!... Goodbye grandpa, you might be gone but you’ll never be forgotten and forever will be loved by us, your family.

Your death reminds me of the bible verse from Ecclesiastes 3:20; "All go unto one place, all are of dust and all turn to dust again". Death is inevitable and is part of the cycle of life. The space you have left on our lives is so deep and it's difficult to say Goodbye. We console ourselves because we believe you lie in the bosom of lord God Almighty.

To us your Grandchildren, you were a grandfather, mentor, role model and also a pillar of support. You gave advice to us when we would go to school, concerned when we came back from school. You always showered us with monetary gifts or pastries to celebrate our achievements no matter how little they were.

Grandpa was a prayful and generous man. He showed us how a Christian home should be like. He always demonstrated the phrase " A family that prays together, stays together".

Although grandpa is gone, he isn't truly gone as he lives on in the memories of all who knew him and loved him,  Never to be forgotten.

Please accept my heartfelt sympathy on the passing of your father.we are saddened to hear of your father’s passing on to glory. I hope you can find peace in the wonderful life he has lived. May he rest in peace.

Death is inevitable, we will all return to our maker some day.
It was however sad to learn of your passing but we take comfort knowing that you are now resting in the bosom of the Lord.
Everyone who ever met you have nothing but praises to sing about you.
You touched so many lives by your selfless and countless acts of kindness, always giving and never expecting any favours in return.
Just like a King, you raised Princes and Princesses and now they carry on your legacy.
You will forever be missed and remembered for your dedication to God, your service to humanity and the community which you belonged to.

With such a short time to write a tribute about such a great father, I guess I better get started - I will not write about the not so ordinary things because most good people have those values – how you were a disciplinarian, father to all, adviser, and life coach to both young and old, who wanted everyone to get an education, etc.

Rather let me sing to the world how you exemplified contentment and was never envious of others. You always demonstrated grace, simplicity yet elegance. You too so many under your wings, protecting and providing for all with your means without a single complaint – that rubbed off dad and I am grateful!!!

You wanted everyone on the same pedestal and always said to me “no one should be at the mercy of another, not among your siblings, not among peers”.

Interestingly, your words to be when I got into the University were “Don’t bring home all A’s without allowing the Uni pass through you and learning how to mix-up with others” – Today I am a servant to most people who I met at Uni and beyond, and I care more about distinction in my service to others, thanks to you dad.

Dear Dad, to say you were a great and successful man would be stating the obvious. But what I must not and do not take for granted is my gratitude for your firm love, strong leadership, kindness, and immeasurable fatherliness.
Do watch on and watch over us as we thread and make our mark here on earth the way we have learned from the absolute best. Go now with your head held up high – you have indeed run a good race, finished well, and deserve a good rest with the saints and stars.

My family and I were taken aback by the news of your passing. I remember your words of advice which I always took back to school while in the University. Thank you for never sparing the rod. You were a daddy to all and truly, family wasn’t only by blood. I am grateful our paths crossed and will cherish those in good memory. Rest well, Pa Adoghe. Rest in Perfect Peace, Papa Monica.

Dear grandpa your death came as a shock to me.I knew you would die soon but not so soon .I still can't believe that you are dead, it's so hard for me to shed tears because i still think that you are in your room sleeping or doing something but not dead.On getting home from school on Friday and hearing the news of your death, I was scared to go upstairs and not see you seating on your chair listening to news or shouting WHO IS THERE for somebody to answer your needs, so i closed my eyes and cried through the parlour to the room and decided to calm myself down and go back to the Parlour but you where not there, so I chose to believe that you where not there, so I chose to believe that you are actually in a better place now where you can get some rest.on entering your room on Saturday every where was so quiet and arranged.The bed was laid but I could still see your slippers at the bedside with your rosary beads on the table. In one side of the room your walking stick while in another your stroller , your torchlight and money still intact on the table . Even though you are not in your room and I cannot see you, I still believe that you are alive and this is just an April fools joke, that you're somewhere happy and you are resting that's all I want .I hope you rest in peace and we'll keep you close in our hearts and never forget to add you in our prayers .Rest in peace .We all love and miss you

Dear Grandpa,

You valued us your grandkids so much. I can't forget how growing up you would always ask us about our school grades everytime we came home for holidays. Or how you would celebrate our achievements no matter how far away physically we were from you. Or the money gifts you gave us.
