I miss you so much!

Things I miss about my friend J. Russell Vaile (Buzzard).....

Early morning calls advising me Michigan weather was bad and for me to be careful going to work (he'd watch Michigan weather on line).......Checking with me after I was out with a "gentleman caller" to make sure I was okay.....Finding the stupidest things to laugh about.....My teasing him that he was 6 months my elder......Hearing about all his crazy antics as a youth....Knowing that I always had a level headed friend to provide wise counsel. 

l will never forget him and will always miss him.

A toast to you my friend (with my homemade peace brandy)....rest peacefully.

R.I.P. my friend....you were a breath of fresh air bringing sunshine to many. Russell kept us laughing....but he also kept it real and ready to listen if you needed someone to talk with....I'm going miss him and still can't believe he's no longer with us....still looking for him to pop up on my page jumping in a conversation making us all laugh...Rest well my brother...God Bless!

Those people unfamiliar with the power of social media just can't understand how deep and lasting relationships can be formed with people you've never even met face to face. I was such a skeptic myself until I met some folks from AOL. One such person was John Russell Vaile (Buzzard to me.). Russell came to be a wonderful older "brother", a "father" like advice giver, a ride or die "cousin" and a saged "uncle" all rolled up into one great big ball of love.

I feel blessed to have been his FRIEND and I will carry a part of him with me for the rest of my life. A toast to you BUZZARD!

(I hope he's not up there giving the angels and St. Peter all kinds of grief...that would be just like him).

I have had many years with you in the capacity of friend and lover. Thank GOD we parted on good terms and you made sure I knew when something was wrong with you both mentally and physically. We battled over politics but was pretty much on track with religion. And you pissed me off many a day just talking (in my opinion) stupid!!! I praise GOD that he has brought you home to end the pain that you were in. I will love you forever more.

Well Rufus,.... you Made it Partner. It was a Blessing to Know you Russell , We shared a Lot of Good times & Great Laughs together Buddy , But I also Know .. We serve a Awesome God , So this is far from the end,.. But Just the Beginning. If it's In His Will ,..... I'll see you again .
