Smokey ( Rat Terrior) was given to us by my husbands parents, a true gift indeed. I remember when we recieved him, we thought he ran off, we looked everywhere for him, being a black dog with very little white on his chest, we finally looked under our bed, and well there he was in the corner sleeping. I went to put him in his dog carrier they gave us, well lets just say he whined so much that first night my husband decided to put him in bed with us, Well thats all it took, the dog was hooked on sleeping in our bed.


 A month later my husband went to the store and found me another dog ( pug) Bandit yes you heard me right Smokey and the Bandit. They became the best of friends, Smokey looked after his sister and protected her.  He never let anyone hurt her, he didnt let anyone hurt us either, he protected us (me) and kept us safe.


As my husband would go to work every morning Smokey would wrap his legs around him and wanted to go with him, but of course My husband couldn't take him to work. So when My husband would get off work at night i taught Smokey to Smile and great him everyday. People thought he was going to bite them, i say no thats his smile for his daddy.     


Smokey truley will be missed by us, we love this dog so much, i still cry every night, and pray and tell him everyday i love and miss him.  

This picture is him a month before he was put to sleep. the next picture is him of the day we put him down. He had a smile on his face thanking us for letting him go to a better place. I love you Smokey and will never forget you. Your my child.
